This event is also a free will donation fundraiser for our youth to provide funds for their summer camps and conferences. Stay tuned for more details to come as their will be a menu and grocery list posted of things we will need to make this event happen. The biggest thing will be your support and attendance. We hope you will save the date and bring a date to Agape Cafe!!! <6:00-7:30 pm February 12th>
Through out the month of January we will be collecting items for Saving Grace, a ministry of Connection that help meet the basic needs of those who are struggling. You can bring your donated items on Sunday Mornings and place them in the canoe. The following is a list of possible items:
We will have access to the party room, so we encourage you to bring some food to share. This is also a great opportunity for baptism. Contact one of the pastors for more information.
Join us for this great family-friendly celebration! Bring board games, gaming systems, and snacks to share! We’ll celebrate the New Year at 10pm to allow for kids to stay up a bit, but make it to bed at a decent time. We also invite you to break in the New Year by joining us for One Big Service at 11am on January 1st!
A simple acts of kindness can go a long way to impact someones day, week, or maybe even there life. Random Acts of Kindness will be kicking off in November! What is RAK? It’s a united effort to serve our community with the love of Jesus. We want to encourage you to be a blessing to others by serving them with Random Acts of Kindness! Pick up your RAK cards at the Connections Table on Sunday and be a blessing!
Here are a few ideas to help you get started: tape a bag of quarters to a machine at the laundry mat, shovel your neighbors driveway, pay for someone’s coffee behind you, leave a bigger tip, give a treat to your postman, give another driver your parking spot, slip some money to someone you know is struggling, bring cookies to an older neighbor, slip A candy bar into the hand if a salvation army bell ringer. The Possibilities are endless!
There is a special youth event for Halloween on Friday, October 28th called Light Night! It will be at the Scheel Home.
